Add a border to a photo

Use Rimatte Photo… to frame a photograph with a white, black, gray, or custom-color border, then export a new finished copy.

Steps

  1. Open the folder containing your photo and select the photo.
  2. Open Rimatte Photo…. The editor follows the workflow Transform → Border → Shadow → Text / Watermark → PNG Logo.
  3. Turn on Border.
  4. Choose the border width. Rimatte supports percentage-based or exact-pixel widths.
  5. Choose white, black, gray, or a custom border color.
  6. Preview the finished photo, then use the editor's export controls to save the result.
Your original stays intact. Presentation effects such as borders are export-only. Rimatte creates a finished copy rather than silently overwriting the source photo.

Result

You have a new copy of the photograph with the selected border applied.
